This sock features an easy cast on and a flat toe. The heel is smooth and well fitting, there are no stitches to pick up.

A bold and innovative lace panel runs the length of the sock.

The large holes in the lace panel lend themselves to decoration if you feel so inclined. Run a little ribbon through them to add drama. Look for ribbon about 7mm wide, about two and a half metres should be ample. Velvet ribbon looks nice against wool.

Materials:

1 skein of Vintage Purls Sock yarn

2.50mm needles (or size required to get gauge).

Gauge:

36 stitches and 48 rows on 10cm (4") over stocking stitch.
