Prior to the closure of an auction Vintage Purls has the right to withdraw a lot from sale for any reason.
Auction items cannot be returned, all sales are final.
All items sold by auction are to be considered seconds – expect flaws (knots, dye marks, etc.) in yarn, expect faded, torn or missing packaging and labels. Please read the descriptions and examine the photos carefully. Items are useable, clean and in many cases as-new quality but they are being cleared via auction for a reason.
Auctions will auto-extend if there are bids in the last minute. Consequently the actual end time of an auction may be later than the originally stated time.
You are required to pay for all lots you win within 48 hours of the auction closing. Upon closing of the auction you will be presented with a payment page for each lot. You must pay for the item and the cost of shipping (you may pickup items for free).
Items must be paid for in full before they are shipped or collected.
There are no buyers premium charges, you will pay what you bid plus the cost of shipping to your location.
New Zealand residents may pay by credit card, bank deposit, PayPal or LayBuy. International bidders can pay by credit card or PayPal.
Free shipping thresholds do not apply to auctions. There is always a shipping charge for every lot (unless you can collect it). Each lot is charged a separate shipping fee. Lots cannot be combined to reduce shipping costs.
International shipping is calculated via weight and the value of the sale. I cannot predetermine international shipping costs. You may certainly bid on auctions if you have a shipping address outside of New Zealand but be aware the shipping costs will be substantial and probably do not make participation worthwhile.
